Hey TLB
Fans Friends and Ministry Supporters!!
I hope things are going awesome
for all of you and just wanted to let you know what is going on with the
ministry. God has been blessing us so much! We
have had many awesome opportunities to minister this past month in
Missouri and Colorado and some of the most ministry driven concerts
yet. So far God has provided us two awesome and willing drummers who have
been taking over since Gabe decided to go on his way. And by the way, Gabe is
doing very well and has set his wedding date with Sarah for June of 2007. He is
so excited and enjoying what he is doing.
The latest addition in the
band who has been helping with drums is a high school friend of mine and music
major from St. Louis University, Adam Reynolds. He is a brilliant
latin player and Jazz drumer and will be appearing with the band at many of our
upcoming concerts. If you'd like to check out Adam you can see Him play
this weekend at all our ministry events in St. Louis, Indiana and
Illinois.
Trust in Him Always! Travis

TLB chases bear down mountain in Colorado
Some people are
afraid of bears but when it comes to the TLB things seem to be the other way
around. After our hike up the mountain to view Pike's Peak we decided to drive
down to town to find a nearby Starbucks. While on the way back we noticed a
large furry animal in the road ahead of us. Realizing it was a black bear we
sped up to get a closer look at it. At that point the bear panicked from the
sight of our mighty van speedily approaching it and began to
run away. But in the confusion, it did not run off of the
road but rather away from the van straight down the middle of road. We in
turn sped up even more to see it. A few moments later the very frighted bear
wised up and flung itself off the side of the road to escape us. It turned
out that a week earlier the same bear had gotten trapped in the house we
were staying at and eaten one of the window sills. It is
now doubtful that the bear will return after it's close encounter with
the TLB.
Colorado Trip goes
Phenominal
Our last trip to Colorado was one of
the most exciting trips I think we've ever had. After 14 hours of driving
throught the night we arrived in probably the most beautiful place we have ever
been in the foothills below Pike's Peak. We played concerts for an outreach
and worship service for New Beginning Church in Woodland Park which both went
well. We were extremely blessed by Pastor Doyle, Dee, Blake and all the members
of the church, as well as the wildlife :)
87 days to
go!!!!!
Sorry to be a
romantic dork but I am excited!!! Allegra and I will be married very soon on
November 11th at Windsor Baptist Church in Imperial, MO! Keep us in
prayer as we try to get a house remodeled to live in and get all the details
together before we begin our life together.
CHALLENGE FOR
TODAY
Give, and it will be given
to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be
poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to
you."-Luke 6:38
Lately, I have been trying to work out and gain
weight. But since I am naturally rather thin I have been buying a
really expense high calorie chocolate shake powered mix to supplement
my diet. However, when I open the container I notice that it is
only about half full because the mix settled. The retailer who sold it
was trying to give me as little as possible by not shaking together or pressing
down the contents. But God is not like that! He wants to pack us up with all the
abundant blessings we can handle. All we need to do is give and not hold too
tightly to what we have. The challenge is to give to others as you would have
God give to you and watch how much He blesses your life.
